Online Banking: Sign Up for e-Statements
Welcome to the enrollment process for First National Bank of Fredericksburg’s
E-Statements (electronic statements). As a first step in this process, please
read the following Electronic Disclosure and Consent. You must consent to the
terms of the Electronic Disclosure and Consent in order to subscribe for our
E-Statements. By consenting to the Electronic Disclosure and Consent, among
other things, you acknowledge that you can access, receive and retain deposit
account periodic statements, change-in-terms notices and other disclosures
required by law and other communications for our E-Statement Services
electronically, and affirmatively consent to the receipt of such statements,
notices, disclosures and other communications electronically.
Electronic Disclosure and Consent
This Electronic Disclosure and Consent (“Consent”) contains important information
about how we will deliver disclosures and notices required by applicable law, including
periodic statements, change-in-terms notices, our annual privacy notice and all other
communications about our E-Statements and related services, whether available now or in
the future (the “Services”). We will call any required disclosures and all other
communications with you about the Services a “Notice”. This is your copy of the Consent.
Please read it carefully and print or download and retain a copy of it for your records.
Consent to Electronic Notices. By replying to this e-mail, you affirmatively
consent to receive, and acknowledge that you can access, receive, and retain, all Notices
electronically, whether sent by e-mail or other electronic means, and not in paper or
non-electronic form. You further acknowledge that by accessing the Bank’s web site at
www.fnbankonline.com you satisfy the hardware and software requirements discussed more
fully below and accordingly acknowledge that you reasonably demonstrate that you can
access, receive and retain Notices electronically in the formats used for the Services,
regardless of whether a Notice is posted on the Bank’s web site or sent to you by e-mail
or other electronic means. The decision to do business electronically is yours. You
cannot subscribe for the Services unless you agree to receive Notices in electronic form;
however, you may, at a charge of $2.00 per document copy, obtain a paper copy of any
periodic statement delivered with our E-Statement Service by calling us at (717) 202-3961
or (717) 202-3928 or writing to us at ATTN: Electronic Banking Services, First National
Bank of Fredericksburg, 3016 S. Pine Grove Street, Fredericksburg, PA 17026.
Scope of Consent. Your consent to receive Notices and do business electronically,
and our agreement to do so, only applies to the Services relating to any deposit account(s) you
maintain with us and designate for use with any Service, whether existing now or in the
future. If any such deposit account is a joint deposit account, you agree that we may
consider any Notice as being given to all deposit account owners when such Notice is given
to you in a manner contemplated by this Consent.
Receiving Electronic Notices. We will send Notices to an e-mail address you designate
or post Notices on the Bank’s web site with appropriate notice to you as permitted by applicable
law. We will treat any Notice we send to you electronically as if it were sent by U.S. Mail,
postage prepaid, and will consider any such Notice received within 3 calendar days of the date
sent by us, even if you do not receive the e-mail or access the Bank’s web site during that time.
You agree to notify us promptly if your mailing address, e-mail address or other information
changes by calling us at (717) 202-3961 or (717) 202-3928, or writing to us at ATTN: Electronic
Banking Services, First National Bank of Fredericksburg, 3016 S. Pine Grove Street, Fredericksburg,
PA 17026.
Hardware and Software Requirements. In order to use the Services and to access, receive
and retain Notices electronically, you must satisfy the hardware and software requirements detailed below.
We will give you Notice of any change to these hardware and software requirements if the proposed
change will adversely affect your ability to access, receive and retain subsequent electronic Notices
from us.
The hardware and software requirements, which you must satisfy at your own expense, are as follows:
- An Internet web browser which is SSL-compliant and supports 128 bit encryption
- Access to the Internet through an Internet or other service provider
- An e-mail account and e-mail software capable of receiving attachments up to 1 MB
-
A personal computer with at least 64 MB RAM, an operating system and all necessary telephone
lines, Internet or other connections, and equipment capable of supporting the foregoing
requirements and necessary to access the Services, including any Internet-enabled wireless
devices, such as personal digital assistants and cellular telephones, you may use to access
the Services
- Adobe Version 6.0 or higher
Withdrawal of Consent to Electronic Notices. If you agree to receive Notices
electronically, you can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us at ATTN: Electronic
Banking Services, First National Bank of Fredericksburg, 3016 S. Pine Grove Street, Fredericksburg,
PA 17026, or visiting one of our branch locations during normal business hours. You will not be charged
a separation fee if you choose to withdraw your Consent; however, the Services will be automatically
terminated. Termination of this Consent will not affect the legal validity and enforceability of any
Notice, electronic or otherwise, before the effective date of termination of this Consent.
Your Communication To Us. To the extent permitted by applicable law, any e-mail you send to
us will not be effective until we receive it and have had a reasonable opportunity to act on it. We
therefore strongly suggest that you report all matters requiring immediate attention (for example,
reports of alleged unauthorized payments, errors or fraud) to us by calling us at (717) 202-3961 or
(717) 202-3928. We recommend that you do not use e-mail to communicate confidential information since Internet
e-mail may not be secure. We may, however, require you to provide us with written confirmation regarding any
such matter. You also agree that we may send you an electronic Notice in response to any communication
you send to us, regardless of whether your original communication to us was via an e-mail.
Verification of Electronic Access. We will verify your ability to receive Notices electronically
by sending a message to the e-mail address you designate for such purposes. If you do not affirmatively
respond to our message in the time indicated therein, you acknowledge that your application or request
for the relevant Service will not be processed and you will not receive Notices electronically.
YOU UNDERSTAND AND INTEND THAT YOUR REPLY TO THIS E-MAIL SHALL OPERATE AS YOUR ORIGINAL SIGNATURE.
BY REPLYING TO THIS E-MAIL, YOU ALSO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THE CONSENT AND HAVE PRINTED OR
DOWNLOADED A COPY FOR YOUR RECORDS. YOU FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU CAN ACCESS, RECEIVE AND RETAIN
NOTICES ELECTRONICALLY IN THE FORMATS WE USE, AND AFFIRMATIVELY CONSENT TO THE RECEIPT OF NOTICES
ELECTRONICALLY.
